I am Jim Longacre, and for thirty some years I have focused on two professional tasks – serving clients as a working patent attorney, and helping people like you through this ordeal and rite of passage we call we call The Patent Office Exam. For many years, I taught patent bar review for what was then the leading patent bar review course. When the opportunity arose in 1994, my law partner at the time and I started a bar review course which was focused on how to pass the exam, using the technology then available. It did very well, and we were offered a ridiculous amount of money for the course, which we took, my particular mother having raised no fools. I taught for the new owner for a while and then went on to other things. Recently, Wolters Kluwer and its subsidiary Aspen Patent Authority asked me to develop a program that would take patent bar review to the next level and take advantage of the technology now available.

I see you now have written materials for the PTO exam, which look like a full set. Do you have CDs with the lectures? We ordered a couple courses from another provider recently because our new associates/clerks needed them this Spring and the other provider had them available. I want to come back as soon as you have a complete course with lectures.
